One runaway build can no longer drain your entire credit balance

Complex builds that loop through many steps could previously consume your whole month's credits in a single run. A new safety cap now limits how many credits any single build can use, so one big job can't wipe you out.

  • A single build is now capped so it can't exhaust your full monthly allowance
  • You stay in control of your credit budget even on large or complex projects
  • The cap applies automatically — no settings to configure

Referral invite links now work exactly as expected on sign-up

When someone arrives at your app's sign-up page through a referral link, they'll no longer be asked to enter an invite code they already used. The page now recognises returning visitors and shows a clean welcome instead.

  • No more confusing double-entry for users arriving via your referral link
  • A clear welcome banner now greets referred users instead of an empty form field
  • Smoother onboarding means fewer drop-offs at the sign-up step

Dashboard now shows real app previews instead of placeholders

Your app dashboard cards now display actual screenshot previews of your published apps, replacing the initial-letter placeholder tiles. It's easier than ever to spot and jump into the right project at a glance.

  • See a live visual preview of each app right from your dashboard
  • Previews update automatically after every new publish
  • No setup required — existing published apps already show their screenshots

AI model upgraded — your app builder is now running Claude Sonnet 4.6

The AI powering your app-building experience has been upgraded to Claude Sonnet 4.6, Anthropic's latest model. You should notice sharper suggestions, better understanding of what you're trying to build, and more accurate outputs.

  • Smarter AI responses when describing or editing your app
  • More accurate code and layout generation from plain-language prompts
  • Upgrade happens automatically — nothing you need to change

Several dashboard and editor display bugs fixed

A handful of small but noticeable visual issues in the editor and dashboard have been resolved, including a search box icon that was covering your text as you typed, and AI hub tabs that weren't switching correctly.

  • Search boxes in the Data Browser and User Management are fully usable again
  • AI hub tabs now switch reliably when you click them
  • Brand logo, dark-mode back-navigation, and layout alignment issues corrected

Whop payments & marketplace controls are now independently manageable

Payment features and your public marketplace listing are now two separate switches, giving you finer control over what's live for your audience at any given time.

  • Turn on payment collection without exposing your public marketplace listing
  • Launch your marketplace page independently of payment setup
  • Reduces the risk of accidentally publishing something before it's ready

Signing in now lands you in the right place every time

After logging in, you'll now be taken directly to your app dashboard instead of an old landing page. The correct experience loads reliably whether you're on the new or classic dashboard.

  • Login now drops you straight into your project dashboard
  • No more unexpected redirects to the public home page after signing in

App previews load correctly — no more wrong app showing up

When you started building a new app, the preview window could incorrectly show a generic placeholder (like a to-do list) instead of your actual project. That's now fixed — your preview always reflects your app and nothing else.

  • New apps no longer accidentally show someone else's template in the preview
  • The preview panel now waits until your app is genuinely ready before displaying anything
  • Fixes a real incident where a creator saw completely unrelated content in their editor

Whop balance info now loads correctly in your apps

Whop account balances were silently failing to load — your app would show nothing instead of the real number. This is now fixed and balance data displays reliably.

  • Whop balance figures now appear correctly wherever you've connected them
  • No more blank or missing balance displays for your Whop-connected apps

Preview stuck on 'restarting'? It recovers on its own now

If your live preview froze or got stuck on the 'Preview restarting…' screen, you had to manually intervene to get it going again. Now the editor detects the problem automatically and restores your preview without you lifting a finger.

  • Stuck previews now self-recover instead of staying frozen indefinitely
  • No more manual page refreshes or support tickets just to see your app again
  • Goes hand-in-hand with the file-sync fix below for a much more reliable build experience

AI builder no longer spins forever on missing files

In some cases, files the AI created would get out of sync internally, causing the builder to loop endlessly trying to fix import errors that it could never actually see. This is now resolved — the builder stays in sync and moves forward cleanly.

  • The AI no longer gets stuck in an infinite 'fixing' loop on certain apps
  • Files you see in your project are now the same files the builder is working with
  • Particularly impactful for larger or more complex apps with many components

Complex AI builds no longer time out mid-generation

Ambitious apps — especially those using OverSkill's most powerful AI settings — could get cut off before finishing because the build ran out of time. The builder now stays active as long as real work is happening, giving your project the time it needs to complete.

  • Bigger, more detailed apps are far less likely to stop halfway through
  • The timer resets whenever the AI is actively working, not just counting flat wall-clock time
  • Unlocks more ambitious one-shot builds without needing to restart

Dark/Light mode now switches instantly — no flicker or delay

Toggling your app's theme in the editor now happens immediately, with no page reload or visible lag. Switch between Light, Dark, and System modes as many times as you like without losing your place.

  • Theme changes apply instantly — no waiting for the page to reload
  • No more jarring flicker when switching appearance settings
  • Works smoothly every time, even in rapid back-and-forth switching

Your published apps stay live when you make edits

A bug was causing previously published apps to silently go offline after every edit. Your app now stays published and accessible to your users throughout the entire update process.

  • Published apps no longer show 'App not published' after you save changes
  • Updates apply cleanly without interrupting your live app

Dark mode editor no longer flashes white on preview

If you use the editor in dark mode, switching to the preview tab used to blast you with a bright white screen for half a second. That jarring flash is gone — the preview now loads with the correct dark background instantly.

  • No more white flash when switching to Preview in dark mode
  • Consistent dark canvas from the first moment the editor loads
